Concrete Pete Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 i found a supplier for working on card tearing, might be interestring food for thought on saving some money. the guy that owns the grocery store around the corner offered me all of his used scratch off tickets that they usually throw out. he gave me a whole bag full last night trying to save me some money instead of buying decks. he told me to come every few days and he will give me a bag or two. all i have to do is cut the large ones in half and use them as if i was card tearing , i tried it last night wasnt too bad and without spending a dime so i cant complain. he told me most stores would probabley give them away because the throw them in the trash anways. ... just figured id share a little money saver with the group. .... royal1911 Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Good for you! By the way, my wife buys a pack of 2 decks of cards at a place called "Dollar Tree"for $1.00. Thats $.50 a deck! This allows me to rip once a week. Quote
