York Dumbells And Old Style 45's To Return

I wrote to a York rep after reading a message on another board regarding York brings back the old style dumbells and 45's to see if they had planned to make up just Blobs. Here is the response.

Hi, Denis! Thanks for your email regarding blobs - I am actually aware of the interest in the return of the York Legacy dumbbells and 45 lb plates (machined to +/- 1% tolerance) in this arena, and York is excited to bring these back!

It is unlikely that York will cut off the handles to make the blobs - inventory stocking considerations and all that - but hey, you get two blobs for the price of one dumbbell!!

Your local dealer should stock these items (I've forwarded your e-mail to Jeff Villbrandt, our National Sales Manager, to ask him to forward your dealer inquiry for northern NJ); if no dealer is available in your area, we can sell directly to you.

Thanks for the e-mail, and I really appreciate the interest in York products - let your gripper friends know!

From what I understand they are supposed to be available in January 2006.
