oldtimer
I'm hoping that Joe approves of this post--Mark Kodya already told me it was okay with him. Just got my new book--"Strength & Speed" 2006 edition-- back from the printers--there's a big section on grip feats. Includes 66 men that have lifted the Inch dumbbell that are believed to be authentic--it also indicates those whom have lifted it to a complete dead lift position. Also 13 men who have lifted the Dinnie Stones without straps. In the grip section alone these are the topics: 1-hand pinch, 2-hand pinch, hub lift, anvil lift, Inch db, more thick-handled db lifts (e.g. RT), vertical bar, hand grippers, dynamometers, 1-hand partial dead lift (the 1-hand full dead lift is in another section of the book), Dinnie stones, hammer levering, rafter chins & others. Articles, lists and/or photos in the grip section alone include Don Larkin, Chad Woodall, Mike Corlett, Tommy Heslep, Richard Sorin, Matt Graham, Mark Henry, Steve Gardener, Jim Wylie, Emily Brown (Gary Brown's daughter), David Erives, Clay Edgin, Wade Gillingham, David Horne, Jack Shanks, Frank Ciavattone Jr., Hammerman Farman, Bruce White, Mike Dayton, Dave Morton, Nathan Holle, Magnus Samuelson, Dave Brown and many others. Other sections of the book include Liz Talbott, Katie Edgin (Clay's sister), Hermann Goerner, and many more. If you want me to email you a blurb on the book just mail me at daleharder@comcast.net.
