jghmesa
I just purchased #1-3 TUGs from Ironmind. I should have gotten the #4 to 7 but if I use 1 finger they give a decent workout. They are also easier to carry in your pocket to tweak on during the day. It is a new product from Ironmind which look like a handgripper but about half the length and 2x the diameter. Also are there any grip enthusists in the Pheonix area that would like to train with me? I've got a fairly good set up in my garage. If so how are they for that?

I'm ready to buy the heavier ones though
Dan Cenidoza
Welcome to the board Jeff. There are regular 'grip gatherings' here on the GB, post up, give people a chance to get to know you and most likely, you'll meet some really great people here. As for the TUG's, I got one as an early Christmas present last night - a #5. I like it, it's fun to squeeze and it feels good in my hand. Mikulich
I have an IM TUG #5 and it feels a little easier to close (with my index and middle finger) than my COC#2 (with whole hand). The extra thick handles feel really good in the close (very stable). The knurling is not too rough but gives good friction during the close. I'm going to get the TUG 1, 2 and maybe 3 to do some pinch gripping. I think they are a great piece of equipment to carry around to work your thumbs. Number Ten Ox
Today is the the only time I'll ever be able to say I closed a four right out of the package. No not a full size unfortunately. The TUG4 is a bit much to pinch for me but will be good to work up to I guess. It's a bit to easy with the top 2 fingers and just about right to a little too easy for my bottom 2 fingers. Nice for one finger work. It's fun.

The TUG's have a different feel to them all together, I wouldn't really know how to rate them. Without sitting down and comparing grippers though, I'm putting the TUG5 around a #1 (two finger close). supermagnamon
I've tried the IM Tug#4 and #7. The #4 feels pretty easy, but the #7 I can't do at all. I don't feel comfortable doing two fingers on the Tugs, so I just use 3 fingers, which feels way comfortable for me.
