Janne
have you guys gotten KTA-free? I know that Mr. Piche is the owner of the KTA program and I sure am not denigrating the program by any stretch of the imagination. To the contrary, it seems to be a great program from what all on here have said. All I am trying to find out is how far some of y'all have gotten without KTA or any specialized training? And I haven't done any specialized gripperstraining either. I've just been doing singles and reps. My best so far with grippers is 3.25 with my left and 3.54 with my right (1mm away from 3.54L and 3.65R). And for repping my best is 22 reps with my left on a CoC #3 rated to 3.0 over 5 sets and with my right it's 23 reps on a CoC #3 rated to 3.0 over 5 sets. Bearcat 74
Quite a few here have closed 3's and above without KTA. KTA is not a must have to do well on grippers, but when you stall out and hit a wall it is a nice boost. I go back and do a cycle every now and then to overload the system.
