Michael86
Well my #4,tug#5,supermaster,superelite all came in today. The #4 is a brick as expected and so is the super elite.I learned that I must have one of the hardest #2's ever because the SuperMaster feels no different at all from the #2.I got one good close in on it and that was it.I kid you not it feels exactly the same as the #2 on the way to parallel and from parallel to close.Im really kinda pissed since I bought it as my 2.5 for my climb to the #3.Since I have no experience w/ grippers other than the ones I own I just want to know wether I have a hard #2 and easy SM or the other way around, hopefully one day Ill know. The BB's are great though, love the knurling, only gripe is how old the metal on the spring looks,I didnt know they used unfinished I figured they coated it like the HG's.Now on to the tug#5, I half to say Im disapointed, I closed it w/ the pointer/middle and with the ring/pinky right out of the box.I was certainly not expecting to close it w/ the ring/pinky at all, makes me wish I bought the #7 because my only intent for using it was to do negatives/overcrushes "I didnt know what to be expecting".Pinching it will defiantly be its main use since I can barely move it w/ a thumb pointer pinch. As far as opening up a world of training possibllities I think that is a load of crap. Its smaller than I expected w/ a smaller spread than I expected, the spring also looks thinner than the one on my trainer.Im not bashing them just giving a opinionated report on them, if you really want to know what they are really like then buy one, for a price that IMO is way to much.Merry Christmas. gerryg
I have a dumb question, are you sure you have a supermaster? Is there a S and M stamped on the bottom of the handles or just a M? The reason I ask is because I own two coc#2's and a bb master and they are pretty close in strength! I also own a bb super master and it is way harder than my coc#2's!
