Z-man
Thanks to Murph, and the rest of the TPS competitors, I finally owned a 60D and grade 5 reverse style! 16 months ago, I put away a 5" blue after buying Eric's Maximized Bending ebook. I could get a good kink in them reverse, and then learned DO to finish the bend with his videos. But, I never got a 60D (except for some ones MMainlands sent me), and never embraced DO for the kink. Haven't bent much since..... At the TPS Grip Contest today (which rocked btw, hoepfully I'll post on that after the results are up), Murph saw me wrapping a nail asked me what I was doing. I thought I new my stuff until he showed me how to get a good tight wrap. I bent a 5" blue that Soilworker had like butter, then a 60D easily, and then a 7" G5 with some effort, all reverse style. I'm psyched, my bag has all this crap I couldn't touch so hopefully now I'll use it up and move higher. Good day, great bunch of guys, tremendous cause, and lots of PRs
Left Side
Right on, I'm always wanted to go to a grip contest like that, just for the experience and the great time. Unfortuneatly there's nothing like that up here.
gazza
Nice work now onwards and upwards.
GatorGrip
GREAT NEWS Z-man! Breaking through a temporary barrier is a wonderful feeling that often gives you both the motivation and momentum needed to propel you to and through your next goal. Capitalize on this victory and take down the next steel victim you seek to slay. GATOR
EricMilfeld
Movin' on up! Way to go, Z-man!
smp76
Keep it up man! Experiment with wrapping and position. Video yourself and watch your technique as if you were trying to help someone else. Be critical of yourself and your form. Be persistent and kick some ass! -Sean
Soilworker
Great work Mike. It was great bending with you guys. The 5" Blue that he bent pretty easily is I believe a FBBC piece of 1/4" CRS. I don't care what he says, that is a tough bend!
