climber511
Most DBs will hold 200# - it doesn't take that long a bar for 2-45s and a ten plus collor on each end - if you want to do it with 25's, it's a little different. You want it for standard or Olympic plates? What size handle, regular or thick? What do you plan to use it for? More information please. DAN PRAYDIS
THEY SELL THEM TO HOLD 10 10LB PLATES EACH SIDE http://www.gymsource.com/ I HAVE A SET AND THEY ARE NICE LIKE $ 16.00 A PIECE
BigPaulFromCityHall
put ten 12.5 pounders-per side- on the above mentioned handles. 250 lb dumbell. the dumbells aren't much more unwieldly than a regular, plate loaded, 200 pounder. there is an image on the internet of an nfl lineman flat pressing 225 pound dumbells they are made with 12.5's. I've been looking around for 12.5's for years ! (I even had a dream where there were dozens of them on the bar I was benching)

John Beatty
I (Fat Bastard Barbell) made some for a guy that would hold 270-500lbs+ depending on if you used 10's , 25's or whatever. They were solid stock & monstrous. I think they weighed around 30lbs each empty. Get in touch if you need some.
SqeezeMasterFlash
I just bought some 1" solid stock and added some inner and outer collars. Loadable to 200 each using only standard 10's.

jad
What do you charge for a 1" handle db that will hold 10 10's per side (standard weights)? I'm done for Christmas but I've got a birthday coming up in March
