TennisDude
http://www.quirkbooks.com/g-tearcards.aspx Makes it out to seem more like a trick than a feat of strength. Is there some technique I'm not grasping here?
jad
I think the key phrase is, "if the cards don't slip"
Clay Edgin
Yes, just grab the deck and twist. What's the difficult part about it? When I flew out for the AOBS dinner last year, I tore a pack while on the plane for a little girl sitting next to me. It seemed a little harder because I was sitting and I didn't want to thrust my elbow into the little girl's face while twisting the deck. They don't like that, I hear. Jedd Johnson
You heard right, Clay. Tennis - I push my right hand, as opposed to pulling it like the article says. -Jedd-
TennisDude
Using this new attitude, I just ripped three decks stacked on top of each other. I attribute this newfound strength to my Fa Jing training!
Left Side
Three decks at once? Good lord Tennis Dude you are finding quite the niche in tearing.
Left Side
I can't seem to grasp this technique. When I twist the deck digs painfully into my hands but does not rip. It will bend considerably, but again, no ripping.
