Starkmann
I've only had my CoCs a short time so this question isn't really based on anything I have experienced so far. I was just curious if people had noticed a wear and tear effect on their grippers. Do they get weaker after you have been training on them a year or two? I know someone in another thread actually broke his after a few years of training, up to that point, does the resistance remain the same? Thanks
mobsterone
Put 'seasoning' into the search engine.
Rekx
They don't get progressively easier as time goes on, but there is a break in period. When I buy a new gripper I will lock it into this thingy on the floor and close it by stepping on it. I'll do this a coupe of time s a day for maybe a week. That breaks it is and "seasons" the gripper.
t_rex
On my #2 and #3, the knurling is wearing away pretty fast where my fingers go. Pretty annoying.
Old Dax
I broke my #1 recently, it was not noticably easier the few reps (singles, strap holds & OC) before it went bang! Dax

How long have you had the gripper before it broke?
Dude
On my #2 and #3, the knurling is wearing away pretty fast where my fingers go. Pretty annoying. ← Yea I hate that, my #2 and #3 are rubbed raw so they're pretty slick compared to my rarely used #1 which is still really sharp. Old Dax
Snott, I didn't notify IM, see the diclaimer on the packet. I've had it about 3 years, but I did use it for repping for the most part to start with, then got serious, got KTA, got it filed, got it busted!
