Justin Reagan
Did a few sets of hand-to-hand passes toward the end of my workout-decided to see if I could toss it and catch it with the other hand. I did two sets--one set of 6 and one set of 4. Fun stuff. Did it like I was doing a high pull, then released it and caught it with the other hand before it got too close to the ground. underdawg
Great job! Try adding a flip in that toss, another good way to progress.
Dave Lemanczyk
Way to go. I feel like that 27.5lb size is great for a lot of endurance type work. Keep it going man.
Soilworker
Good. I have been using the 27.5lb myself with great results. One routine that really destroys your lower arms is doing passes with it, but do a high number, like 50, with one full return back and forth counting as one rep. It's a killer. I don't know if it will build any real power, but it's fun none the less.
3Crusher
One time about 6 years ago, I did 300 consecutive tosses (150 per hand) without a drop with a 25 pound blob, and it totally destroyed my hands for a couple of weeks. It was fun, but I do not recommend 100's in a row. Stick with the largest blob you can handle for a medium amount of reps.
Rekx
What would you guys say is a good rep number for hand to hand toss to build grip power? 15 or so?

3Crusher
Well Dave, I vote for you to be the first person to slam dunk a 40 pound blob, because you my good friend are an explosively strong freakazoid!
nickr104
What would you guys say is a good rep number for hand to hand toss to build grip power? 15 or so? ← I would say the reps don't matter as much as long as you are doing the tosses to failure. 3 10 15 100 whatever it takes depending on the strength level and size of block weight you use.
