That is me, I re-certified under the new rule, the first time I certified at Rick's house I was to lazy to send in the paper work which was stupid I know. This time I did a total no set close infront of my witness for 3 reps.

Nick Zinna no set closed my 2004 #3 completely cold a couple times. He also ran the grip gauntlet when we had a #2 and only 187 on the RT. He couldn't do it the next day when we had the correct weights -#3, 212 on the RT. Chris St. Clair also ran the gauntlet with the same weights as Nick. It was a screwup on my part to have the light weights in there - long story. It is still a huge accomplishment however since they both lifted the blob.

Yes I have, but I was to lazy to actually go through the cert process because it is a pain in the ass.

Thanks. I was wondering who the other new additions were also. I wondered if all of us certified at the GNC show.

What about the guy that got all but the gripper on the gauntlet? The guy from Texas? I thought Randy said he came back and closed the gripper that day. Did he not certify?

He closed the #3 with no set - like kinney closed the #4 but no set. He lifted 212 in the RT but did not lift the blob. Randy didn't get a pic of the gripper closed so I don't know if he will certify him or not. I signed the paperwork. His name is Tex Henderson.

That's impressive ... especially if he had not seen the grippers before.
