Anuwbius
I love it as it gets both wide pinch and radial deviation at the same time (front levering basically)
itch85
ive been doing sort of the same thing with 2 25lbs plates, really hits your pinch and forearms at the same time
Jedd Johnson
Very intense lift. We did them once and got them on tape. I remember it really targeted the thumb hard. I was sore for a couple of days. Blob Curl -Jedd-
Steve B.
I was doing these with one arm at a time with thumb and index finger toward the ceiling(hammer curl position).Jed your way with two hands looks intresting.I don't have a blob that big yet. Anuwbius
Yeah, I am talking about strict culrs of a block weight with one hand, in the neutral postion. Not only does it the wrist really hard, its forces you to clamp down on the block weight so it does not rotate downward.
Jedd Johnson
The variety is good I'm sure. One thing I noticed about using two hands on a big block is that the range of motion feels it strains the thumb much more than with a smaller block weight and only one hand. Maybe it was my lack of flexibitlity though. -Jedd-
Anuwbius
just to make sure were on the same page, I am talking about a curl with the thumb and fingers on each side of the block weight, not the thumb on top, fingers on bottom. But I could imagine how the curls done in the vid would rip thumbs. Just never had the chance at a big block.
