Bananafingers
I'm curious as to what all you out there can lift on a 2.5" FBBBC crusher, and if you have a rolling thunder also, what you can lift on that. I only have the 2.5" crusher, and it's hard for me to compare the weights I'm lifting on it with those that people are lifting on the RT. I've never even seen a RT in person, but I'm sure that being hollow it weighs a hell of a lot less than the solid metal crusher.
EricMilfeld
I too am very interested in this, as I ordered the 2.5" Crusher only moments ago. So hopefully in a few days I'll be able to add my input.
MikeP
Throw in Clay's handle too. Maybe Eric and I can do a side by side compare of the FBB and Clays, not that either of us are great thick bar lifters. I need to get a RT and we could do (maybe the 1st ever?) side by side by side comparison of all 3.
dubthewonderscot
If you guys want to do it at my place, I will offer the RT. What do you think Eric? I would love to try both the Crusher and Clay's handle. W

Unless someone else has compared all three side-by-side already.
dubthewonderscot
Just depends on what day mike has available. I'm guessing you don't have your Crusher yet, so maybe next Tuesday? W
MikeP
I will be back in TX on Monday I think so I may be able to do that. I'm just so screwed up on schedule ya know.

dubthewonderscot
I wished I lived closer, I would love to come up with my RT and meet you guys. And get some training tips ← Come on dude, we do it Tuesday night, that would be a 2 hour road trip. Leave at 4 or 5 and get to my place by 6 or 7, we'll probably just be getting started, we train for a few hours, you leave my place at 9 or 10, you're home by midnight, after a great time with some fellow gripboard members. I certainly encourage you to come. Mike is coming from Oklahoma. Although, I'm not sure I want you two that close after next saturday. One of you will want to kill the other! lol. So guys, I guess it's on. Next Tuesday at my place. Anyone that needs directions, pm me. Chris, if you are out there in newly wedded bliss and want to train, this applies to you too my friend. MikeP
I could care less which of those teams wins....I'm from Stillwater, Home of the COWBOYS, not the sooners. I don't know which is worse, if OU wins all I hear about is how great they are and if TX wins all I hear about is how OU was robbed.... I'll see what I can do to make it happen. dubthewonderscot
Ok guys, the date of the thickbar challenge has been changed to monday October 11th due to scheduling reasons with some of the participants. It is at my house still and anyone coming, please feel welcome, I would be happy to provide directions. I will be at the house around 5 pm or so. Please feel to ask for directions. Austin is 174 miles from Burleson, so about 2 and a half hours if you don't hurry. Closer to 2 hours if you do. Wanna, I tried to make this an event on the calendar but do not have the permissions to do so. Could you either grant those to me, or add the Texas Revolving Thick Bar Challenge to the calendar on Oct 11th? Thanks! W
MikeP
I'll try to make it but I don't know if I can be there that early. I usually don't ease out from the rig until about 6 and that puts me at your place at 7ish? This is all dependent on what kind of hell were having at the time too. I'll do what I can. opnsysme
Ya! The boss said I could come, I'll see you guys on Monday night, though if I leave right from work I might not get there till 5:30-6pm. Can I get directions? And should I bring any grip related stuff?
dubthewonderscot
What grip stuff do you have to bring? Was it you or Thorfinn that has the kettlebells? W
opnsysme
Well thorfinn does but they are at my house, I also have assorted grippers, 46# blobette, ISG,RT,homenade twist-yo-wrist, 50# "kettlebell" Mike P knows what it truly is, and I thought I would bring a video camera and digital camera, oh I also have a huge steel ring it weighs about 30#'s. Let me know...

Mike P has one, but it's squared off on the edges and hurts like heck.
