ulgrim
I took a few month break from grippers and started again about a week ago - when I squeeze them really hard my elbows hurt for at least several minutes afterwards. My best guess as to why it's happening now and not then is because I started with a #1 last time and worked my way up -- so I assume it's from closing hard grippers suddenly after not using them for a long time. Has this happened to anybody?
Jedd Johnson
Your elbow joint or your elbow muscles? -Jedd-
Cunny
Add extensor work and try not to train grippers with your arm straight. This has worked for me
Jedd Johnson
Exactly what I was going to suggest, Cunny. -Jedd-
ulgrim
thanks, what kind of extensor work should I do?
Davekline
You can loop rubber bands around your fingers and extend the fingers against the resistance.
SantaClawz
I find sandbucket work the best for extensors, just my opinion anyway.
