Bob Lipinski
Seems like most of the new Heavy Grips are pretty narrow, around 2.5 inches (some more, some less). I got a bunch because heavy grips is sponsoring my grip contest, and almost all of them are comfortable for me to do no set closes with. Clay Edgin
When I spoke to Bill Morrison about the difference between his grippers several months ago, he said that the older ones all had spreads closer to 3" but that he liked the idea of making 2.5" the standard so more people could use them without hand size being an issue. Seems like a good idea. I had an Elite with a 2.5" spread once and it was great for no-set work.
bencrush
Clay, were you actually able to close your narrow Elite table no set? That kicks ass.
Clay Edgin
Yes Ben. It wasn't too bad. I think it was on the easier side compared to the rest of the Elites I have tried though.
