tomricci
Dave, thanks so much to you & Murph for putting on such a great event. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the camaraderie among the competitors. I felt it was truly genuine. Also many thanks to all who helped me with advice and pointers. It was so cool hanging with so many serious grip people. I can't leave out the show after the contest. Seeing Jedd and Zach toy with the Blob, Jedd pinching the two 45's and passing them around behind his back was awesome and then the three 25's pinch was impressive to say the least! I had a great time and was surrounded by great people. I can't wait 'til the next one! Tom Ricci

Kurt Lane
What V-Bar was used? Seems like low numbers compairitivly to other V-Bar events.

Jedd Johnson
What V-Bar was used? Seems like low numbers compairitivly to other V-Bar events. It was a comparable v-bar. The numbers were low because we were lifting to lockout. -Jedd-
Mikael Siversson
That is indeed painful (and often results in removal of skin). We considered it at one stage (lifting to lock-out) but concluded that it was impractible and potentially unsafe (potential mixing of blood). At one of the LGC competition I showed off by holding the v-bar at lockout. It cost me quite a bit of skin. What V-Bar was used? Seems like low numbers compairitivly to other V-Bar events. It was a comparable v-bar. The numbers were low because we were lifting to lockout. -Jedd- ←

bencrush
Great job guys and ladies! Sounds like it was a lot of fun. Impressive gripper closes considering they were apparently done after all the other lifting. Brutal way to do it.
Jedd Johnson
Their #3 was only a touch easier than the one I brought when I calibrated them at the beginning of the day. The one of ours that I brought was the European gripper Smitty just purchased from Michael that has a very wide spread. I believe Michael said he rated it at a 3.25. -Jedd-
