How do you do these polls? I'd like to start a few. Specifically, can we ban threads on key pinch, stubs of any kind, sledgehammers, grippers, bodyweight, and hand size? Those don't interest me at all and I'd like to see them removed because they clutter up my viewing experience.
Even though they don't interest me, I am forced to read them by moderators at the point of a gun. Oh wait... no I'm not. I'm a grown a$$ man that can decide those things don't interest me, so I don't read them. Problem solved. No need to impose my issues on those that do enjoy them.
Frankly, the 22 of you that voted to ban them need some safe spaces. You're all going to melt. The horror! Those men want to talk about something I dont want to talk about and my will is not strong enough to avoid them. Micro aggression! Cancel all threads I personally don't like. Even the ones in the off topic section because I can't avoid being drawn there. I'm saddened by this. Actually sickened. Not sure what has become of society and men in particular. The pu$$ification of the human race is growing on a steeper exponential curve than the ChiCom Bat Fru.
Few thoughts on NYC death stats from Corona.
- They (and the US as a whole) are not counting obesity as an underlying condition. I'm guessing a decent percentage of the 24 deaths that have not had an underlying condition do not have a healthy BMI
- Only 24 out of 1,562 did not have an underlying condition
- 158 people die in NYC every day from all causes when COVID is not around. That stat shocked me. But there are millions of you masochists living there, so it does make sense
- If you are under 50 and have no underlying condition, stay positive because you are most likely going to live through this
- Sending prayers and good thoughts for all of you to stay healthy during this peak over the next 2-3 weeks. Our peak will be at the end of April, 1st week of May, so I expect some return good thoughts sent our way once you guys are over the hump.
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? - Oddball
Ride the wave bruddah! 🤙🏻
I'm definitely on one the last 3 weeks. I'm hoping I can get to 300 before it crashes me into the reef and I have to spend a month or two paddling back out to catch the next one. Lol
Shay only today as Paul's shoulders ruined. Shay is strong on tricep (both are good pressers) so that makes me up my game = good.
to 109.5-kilos x 4 reps (Shay topped out at 120+ for 3)
Hammer Dumbbell Curls (my lift)
to 60+kilos x 10 reps (new longer bar on order)
Skull crushers (on the floor) with press to finish
to 60+kilos (about 65 total) x 12 reps + 3 presses (Shay did 15+10)
Been mainly messing around with the pinch block today. First I work on grippers, then the pinch block, then the Trilobite,I usually try to get a type of PR but for now I’m still getting novice gains. I’m doing previous 1rm for reps now so we’ll see, the initial impossible feel of my top set in the beginning of pinch training is going away and I clean it well like all my implements as well.
Incorporated the Ironmind Block into my daily routine. Pretty fired up about grip in general but because the blocks difficulty for me I kinda want to specialize in it and devote more energy to it, it’s barely been used but that’s changing. Figured I’d log it here today since i enjoy using it so much, my numbers since getting it, I keep it clean cuz I want the most out of it. Here’s the numbers nothing special, some were max effort some were not
5lbs: 32 reps
10lbs: 32 reps
20lbs: 126 reps
25lbs: 32 reps
30lbs: 32 reps
35lbs,40lbs, 45lbs, 50lbs, 55lbs, and 60lbs I kept to 1 rep, I’ll bring those up
Been working with a new Ironmind Pinch Block. Love it! Look forward to setting up some pages dedicated to it in one of my grip journals that I write prs and personal bests in, the first workout I did with it I hit 56lbs microloading. I wipe it clean after use, been doing holds at lockout as well as reps to grease the groove and whatnot
This year I’d like to re-attempt a blue nail personal best, as many reps as possible in one go. I’d like to bend to completion above 60 blue nails in one go. No rest in between, then when I fail I stop. I still measure each one and count only the ones that are totally completed. This is mainly for testing purposes
