dave Posted July 31, 2004 Share Posted July 31, 2004 mark arrived today bout 330, set the camera up, opened the box, close gripper. the video camera wasnt turned on, told wife to check it, everyone seen the red light, but had it on memory card. which only takes 15secs then cuts off. so we got most of the box openin on vid, but thats it. gripper returnin monday, wanna, please put me on the next go round. ill have a competant video person next time. bballdad Posted August 1, 2004 Share Posted August 1, 2004 Just getting home and settled down here. Well got 15 seconds of me opening the box is all I can say! lol We did 3 takes! First one a great close and held. I looked at camera all good. Second attempt closed but alittle movement actually to close to camera when I looked, Third missed by a hair. Dave's only problem is a complicated camcorder. Had a great time though anyway watching Reds, G9's, G8's one at 5.5" fall. Most while sitting down laughing. Ha think he was laughing at me sweating and making faces trying to bend. hehe Thanks Traci for the good cooking!! You guys have a great vacation and a safe trip!!! I have the utmost respect for him and consider him a good friend. If it were me and the camera person had done that, I am not sure of what would have happened. Luckily I am not married, so divorce papers would not have to be drafted and filed. Dave has a great crush grip. I knew he would destroy the MM3 from when Smitty and I met him back in May when he made us some farmers and a log. He said he hadn't trained grippers in weeks and mangled multiple grippers that I could not bring to within a quarter of an inch. He took industrial lubricant oil, put it on his toughest gripper he had and closed it. Dave, lady luck kicked you in the nads this time, but you will get her back soon, buddy. A friend of Daves took a 4 or 5 inch nail stuck it up inside his nose and pushed it straight back until the head of the nail was flush with his nose.
