What is this "do as many as you can" in 10 minutes thing? How much do you rest between attempts to keep going on?

I really enjoy seeing a "heavy" guy doing this kind of stuff!!

Its something I saw Doc doing in his log a while ago and figured I'd try it. It forces me to rest less and get more volume in - kind of a "Oh crap, only 2 mins left, gotta bang more out" thing. It works as I never do 5 sets of 10, or 10 sets of 5, etc. I"m traditionally more of a 2 or 3 sets of 5 or less kinda guy. Doing this, so far anyhow, I've been in that 50-60 total reps range, a lot more than before. I've been really sore the last week, so I know its working.

Pretty good maidenfan!! You'll get hella strong doing this stuff at your BW. It seems most heavy people neglect this type of exercises, maybe because it's kindof an ego-killer when they see the lighter guys climbing like spiderman or something... hope you keep it up!

Ya, its definately an ego killer for me - I just gotta keep at it. If I ever loose some bodyweight I should be a lot better.

Band Stretching

Treadmill Intervals - 28 mins

Band Stretching - hips/hams/groin/quads only

Messed around with some hip belt squats (bands)

The band stretching is really starting to pay off as my flexibility in the hips/hams is quite a bit better than before.

Band Stretching

One Arm Seated Cable Row - 80x8, 80x10, 90x8, 90x8, 100x8, 110x8, 110x8

"Strive" 60 degree Arm Curl Machine - 25x20, 45x10, 55x10

Log bench PR was the only thing good about tonights workout - getting sick - felt like crap. Having no heat in the gym doesnt help much when its 36 degrees inside.

DB Hang Snatch (warm-ups) - 30x3, 50x3, 80x3

DB Hang Snatch - 100 x 80 reps (40 ea arm) in 14 mins 10 sec (PR)

Still sick, but a good workout. The DB snatches for time REALLY get my heart pumping as I'm trying to keep the rest to 1 min or less between sets.

Then lose some fat while retaining your strength and that'll automatically make you stronger :)
