Bill Piche
The one guy is 6'4" and 380lbs if I read it right! It looks like he is closing the #3 with his first four fingers. It said he can do 5 reps with the 3 right handed.
Guest JD79
You read right, that guy is huge. Massive hands too. JD
3Crusher
Wannagrip- If you have the MILO (I can't remember which one off the top of my head) where they show Cleve Dean trying to close the #3, this guy's hands look just as big! It looks as if his whole hand would have trouble fitting onto the handles. I hope that a guy like this, who says he has not lifted much weights and closed the #3 two days after he got it, keeps the "Eye of The Tiger", because it seems to me that he has the gift of grip. It would be a shame to let all this potential go unutilized. But it says that he does the grippers every day three times a day. He is only 21, so he has many years to get that #4, if he wants it badly enough.
Guest Dr Tom
And how about Mary McConnaughey smashing the COC #2 upside down (is that easier?). Impressive, none the less. Would hate to get cross-ways with her. MILO called her a "dedicated arm wrestler". I guess if she tells you that it's YOUR turn to take out the trash, you DO IT! I was also impressed w/ the 82 yr. old Belgium gentleman, Albert Delaitte. He is still COMPETING! Forget Ginkgo, lift weights! Surely, exercise is the fountain of youth and health. -Tom (Edited by Dr Tom at 4:13 pm on Mar. 2, 2001)
Sybersnott
Who is this dude WannaGrip is talking about? I'm asking because I don't get MILO. Please provide some background info if you can please.....
Kevin Fulton
Mary McConnaughey is a very impressive strength athlete/armwrestler. We have trained together on several occaisons. Once she transported her armwrestling tables all the way from Omaha and set them up in my barn for a workout! She has a very strong grip and is a world champion in armwrestling. She has a great website www.armwrestle.com with a bunch of training info and pictures including some from our workouts. I have never met Matt Kingsporn yet but i hope to have him here at our a future training session. He is a very large man even by Nebraska standards. We have a lot of very large people out here and huge hands are very common in rural Nebraska but he looks to be on the upper limits judging from the picture in MILO.
