GRIP DYNOMETER

At my work I found out that I have ready access to a grip dynometer.....imagine the smile on my face when I found that!  It is red and grey and has a digital face on it.  

Does anybody know what a good number to reach on this woud be?

Do not be surprised if you record a maximum reading on the dynonameter . The are pretty much used to measure the grip strength of average people . People who do specialized grip work will score way higher . A typical machine records up to 200 pounds . I am not sure though what kind of pounds these are .
