Rolling A Frying Pan

How to train to roll a frying pan, without rolling frying pans (a bit expensive lol ) ? What are the components of grip strength involved ? What about the kind of upperbody strength required (if significant ? ) and the different techniques ?

Thanks for any input,

Amaury.

Well, if you can wait a week I should have an article up on heavysports.com on how to do this ;)

We have dollar stores practically on every block in this crappy little town and nearly all of them carry frying pans. They're very, very easy to bend, but you can at least get the "feel" down.

Clay - you need to add that to YOU they're very very very easy to bend:

and that you closed the #3 the fourth time you ever tried it.

Clay: cool, please let me know when your article is released !

Coming from a guy with your level of strength i'm with Razorman and take it with a grain of salt :laugh

Seriously though, they're made of probably 20ga (.030") aluminum. My 16 month old daughter had one the other day and was pushing the sides together a little bit so they'd flex, then she'd giggle.

I agree with Clay on this one. You all can bend frying pans that aren't made of tough metals. Anything that lacks iron will yield to anyone. Not to say that thin iron is a challenge either. I've taken a hold of a few in a store one time, gave a little push on them. I could tell some of them were a joke and others would hurt me.
