To add pictures, click on the "Upload" link when you are viewing your album name that you just created. 8. Put in Caption in the caption field. 9. Put any comments in the comments field. 10. Click "browse" and manuever on your PC hard drive to find the picture(s). 11. Click "Post Image" Reme, ber, you guys with digital cameras need to learn to use the software that comes with your cameras so you don't try and upload HUGE images. The image max size is set to 100K. That's almost too big. Most compressed 800x600 images are less than 100K easily.
John Wood
I get the message : "You are not allowed to upload this type of image" When I try to upload a picture.
Bill Piche
I get the message :"You are not allowed to upload this type of image" When I try to upload a picture. Send me the image via email John. Let me have a look. It should not be over 100K bytes. That might be it.
OldGuy
Mostly likely certain file extensions will not be permitted.
Bill Piche
Do not use extra spaces or periods or apostrophys in the file names. Right now there are some bugs in the software with respect to this. So, keep it simple. Like this: biggripclose.jpg And NOT like this: big grip clos.e.jpg

Cunny
Where are the albums? Are they in the usual Gallery part or are they under each users profile?
Bill Piche
Click on Gallery at the top of the page. Also, in their profile there is a gallery link. Once you click on that one in particular, make sure you click on the User's name on the bottom left for their pictures. The random images and last 5 is not working yet, but will soon. This is just a release candidate. Much more to come with this plugin!
MikeP
Thanks for all the work Bill, this will be great. When will they add the video support? I'm gonna try this out today, I'll post my results.

Bill Piche
Raised max picture upload size to 200K just now. Total space is still 5 meg for each user.

Bill Piche
Good question! I will post this in the help forums.
Bill Piche
I think you delete by going to the main gallery, then clicking on the your gallery images. There's a DELETE button at the top when viewing each picture. At least there is for me. It's not done from your control panel. Still waiting to hear from tech support on this too. MikeP
I tried this as well. On the pic, the menu is there and if you hit delete it prompts with a popup saying you can't undue this feature. After clicking, ok its responds with an error page "Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available"
Bill Piche
Hmmm. Interesting. I did log it with tech support and will find the answer.
Bill Piche
I just tried it and it worked. Did you try it on your own image? Anyone else want to test this for me? Upload a picture and then remove it from your gallery? Thanks.

Bill Piche
Confirmed bug by the software creator. To be fixed in the next release which should be VERY soon. Thanks Mike!
Irrepressible Monkey
What are the rules concerning what images can be uploaded to an album? I don't mean like "no porn, just gripping and bending", 'cause that's kind of obvious. I mean more like does an image have to be of a feat of a certain standard? Like #2 closes and better, X lb pinch lifts and better, Y nail bends and better, or can a person just upload whatever they're capable of, not matter how trivial it is compared to the incredible stuff many of the posters here are capable of? You can put up whatever you like, with the exception of the porn of course. No standards are necessary. It's your personal album to upload what you wish as far as grip. JeffPeterson
How does someone compress a file.
Bill Piche
How does someone compress a file. It will do it automatically to a 800x600 photo, but the photo still needs to be 100K or less on the onset of upload. ALL digital cameras come with software that has a feature to reduce the size and compress it. They are easy to use as well. Same with scanners.
