You can do what you want with one hand. The above post should read "where no set or chalk is aloud." It just has to be one handed all the way. Picked up and closed all with the use of one hand.

Like I said, how is he going to pull this off with varying hand sizes? Is he going to custom build a gripper for everyone that certifies so no one gets an advantage? I mean, what I meant was even 1/8" can give an advantage.

No chalk allowed?

If people with say hands at 7inches to 73/4 inches all have to use a gripper at 2 1/2 inch spread that would still be unfair for the person with the larger hand. That little bit of a difference can be huge. Unless he plans on making a gripper for every 1/4 inch in hand size.

I didn't read this. This is what I as alluding to. :)

Warren has a chart thought out in his head. Hand sizes that are in a certain length range will get a certain spread. Naturally as hand size increases the spread on the grippers will increase.

From the sizes that you mentioned before on hand sizes it would be unfair to some people MatVanWeele. Every 1/4 inch would make a difference.

True but it's about the most practical way of doing it. I guess it comes down too doing it or not doing it. Don't like it don't do it. It's his cert and he can do whatever he wants. At least hes taking into consideration when it comes to a no set close. Hand size. He could just have a 3 inch spread and say here you go. Anyone have any better ideas on how to do it give him a call and throw down your thoughts.

I'm not sure Jeff. The guy making the cert sheets for him is having some family problems so that is delaying the process. I would say within the next few months he wuold be ready.

I tried a gripper that would count for the cert when I was there in November. Needless to say it's tough. Especially with no chalk.
