anson
i've been doing strapholds with a canvas wrist strap looped through a 25lb plate and the #1. i can hold it for 3-4 seconds. my goal is to one day close the #3( i can no set close the #2 now), but my question is should i be using a lighter weight for strapholds to increase the amt. of time of the hold? it seems like strapholds are harder than moving up to the next gripper, for example the #1 + 25 lb = 165 lb if you add the 25 lbs to the 140 lb gripper, but this feels much harder to me than the #2. thanks! anson
terry
use the #2 and use about 10-15lbs........add weight when you hold for over 12-15sec...... IMO 3-4 seconds isn't long enough

thomas straub
I would you less weight (5-10lbs) but hold it longer.
