Looks super good. Wood aesthetics 👍
My 60mm and 80mm blocks are store-bought (GoG), but I also have a super wide 125mm DIY block.
I made it from a thick steel rectangular pipe, so the block is already 1.6kg/3.5lbs 😅

Hahahaha you made a pinch block out of spalted maple??? :D:D :D

It's oak but yeah it was a spare piece and it had the thickness I wanted, so I thought 'why not?' 😁

Thanks, it's 45mm in thickness and it's wide enough for both my hands, so probably 30cm wide.

That is indeed a super wide block, what would the benefit be from training with such a wide block?

It's just another aspect of pinch strength. I think my original idea was to help with bloblifts, but honestly, simply doing blobs is more fun and productive.
It would definitely be helpful to build up strength for blob facelifts though.
