Guest CalvinP
I have mention in the grip page about the finger tips crushing grip. I feel I needed to clarify it one step further. The true finger tips crushing grip would use ONLY the VERY tips of the fingers. Fingers would remain curved like the eagle's talons. Pressure will be on the tips near the finger nails, as if one is to dig in with them, or to punchure the object. With this style, I think shorter hands will have a chance to compete. Image a standing log with weights attached to it at the bottom. The diameter would be from 2"- 4" . Square or round log is ok. Wrap the log with rope, and/or canvas, burlaps, plus layers of foam cushion to create that fleshy feeling. Just use two or one hand to pick it up by with the curved fingers and apply the tips' pressure to raise it. I think any one who can do it on a bare log that weighs 200 lbs or more should need a license to carry his hands around. Please tell me if this gip is not entirely different than others
