Our Ratings Data does not always tell the whole story regarding where ratings are landing for the current stock. The last 138 was August 2020. The last 139 was October 2021 Since the beginning of 2021, we have had 3 at 139, 2 at 140, 8 at 141, and 10 at 142. After all, there were 3 139s in the 10 months from January to October 2021, and none in the 9 months since then; I saw similarly low numbers for 3.5 last year (many in the 160s - I was so excited to get a 168 in 2020, then I got a 165 in mid-2021, but haven't seen that low since although maybe I missed it?). Also I snatched up a 117 2.5 about 2 years ago, and haven't noticed anything that low in a year or two, either. I could be wrong, but it sure felt like there was a downtick in ratings among at least those three grippers during that time. Even though all of them are contained within an 11 pound spread, there has just been more distribution along all 11 of those numbers. Also for the first 5 levels of Standard they have generally turned out wider than what we wanted. So as we reorder those springs we are making them more narrow but changing the mount deeper so the ratings stay the same. Somehow though, there was still another at 167. Remember, you have to rate a gripper to know what it rates.
