The Kings of Strength

In 1911 a book titled The Kings of Strength was published in French, and for 111 years now it has not been available in English.

Until now.

David Chapman, translated The Kings of Strength into English about 30 years ago but no publisher wanted to take the chance on a niche market. That has now changed, and the book is available for about $50 via Amazon. I have no financial interest in this book, but wanted to alert members here (after asking Bill's permission) that the book deals with oldtime strongmen who often included grip feats in their performances.

David is a friend of mine and has published several irongame related books, but this is the one that members here might have an interest in. Some collector's shared photos with David- photos of better quality sometimes than the ones included in the 1911 Desbonnet book.

I am hoping the book goes to a second printing, but if this is a topic that would interest you, please consider it.
