What's the difference between springs? And spread? MM10 is still lighter than a regular GHP 10?

We are fortunate that we get to see the best to ever do grippers in real time, fully documented, and in absolutely demolishing fashion.

That's a great point. I was actually training with a buddy of mine today and we said the same thing. Unreal feat of strength

Questions for David Shamey:

How much did you weigh when you Certified on the IM 3.5?

How much did you weigh when you closed the MM9?

Congratulations on the 9👍

MM9 is finally accepted in the USA, it always takes a very long time, but it's lucky that our post has not lost any grippers😀

Someone's gotta ask, and it may as well be me:

Not yet) This will be the first time when the pause in certification will be at my will

I saw a qualifier video that he posted somewhere (maybe Insta) and it looked pretty solid to me, but I think IM said they needed a better one.  It's a bit of an art I guess, but the point is, he is certainly in the ballpark.

Has he done any of the MMs?  I would imagine he'd be a lock for 8 and maybe get 9 also.

Never saw that video, but at 2020 King Kong in LA, he told me had successfully CCS’d a 4 (3 or 4 times I think he said?). I figured 2021 it would happen. I say 2022 it will happen. I found Carl to be a very pleasant, very respectful, very humble fellow.
