I just went through my current bending stock. Pretty good at the bolt department (and I have some G8s and G5s coming), but I'm running low on some important bars, especially CRS and stainless 7mm hex.
I have a bunch of drill rods too easy for DU but will be useful for reverse.

Phase 2
- 5x1 KWN50 (50.5lb/22.9kg) lift attempt - 1 full lift with RH
I fully lifted it with my RH for the first time! I really didn't expect this, so I haven't recorded it. But now that I "unlocked" this, I think I can repeat it on a good day and go for the cert (at least I hope).

That's awesome--mentally and physically!  Sometimes it just takes that one breakthrough to start dominating a lift.

||: One set WD2 -> one DU bend :||

Wrist developer 2 - CROM spring - LH front - single suedes
- 2x1 Level 13 (3-4)
I think I've never recorded Level 13, so here it is (the second single).
- 2x5 Level 12 (3-3)
- 2x8 Level 11 (3-2)
- 2x12 Level 10 (2-3)
- 2x14 Level 9 (2-2)

Simple concept today: decrease difficulty, increase reps. Large volume.

DU - single leathers
- 1x Stainless 304 7mm x 7" - 1 hit
- 1x Drill Rod 7.5mm (size "M") x 7" - 1 hit
- 6x1 CRS 21/64" x 7" - 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2 hits

At the 4th 21/64" bar, I realized something very important. Moving the bar/wraps towards my wrist 1-2 cm further (compared to my usual grip) forces my wrist to have a slight flexion, and I'm undoubtedly stronger at this position. Not exactly sure why but I have a few guesses. But what's important for this log is that I don't forget about this.
- 1x CRS 21/64" x 8" - 1 hit
- 1x CRS 5/16" x 7" - 1 hit

Haha I know that feeling. It really helps toughen the hands up though.

Thick bar
Double overhand deadlifts - Fat Gripz original (2.25" on barbell, blue)
- 10x1 125kg/276lb with 4 sec holds
Not a good weight but much shorter rest periods than usual.

One-handed dumbbell lifts - Fat Gripz original (2.4" on dumbbell, blue)
Both hands
- 10x1 59kg/130lb
RH lifts were all leveled, LH lifts - three leveled, others with a slight tilt.
est sets were 7-10 with both hands, probably my wrists finally warmed up enough. Good weight choice with LH, a little bit too easy for RH.

For some reason, my RH thumb started to hurt a lot after Friday's thick bar workout. It's the place where the blob hurt my thumb when it bounced back. So I had to skip the workouts for the weekend and no pinch or thick bar next week. It's frustrating because last week was the first time I lifted my KWN50, and I wanted to try the cert on Monday.

Anyways, I still did a short cardio: 3x 8mm x 7" 4.8 bolts in single suedes snap
+ some minimal wrist stuff

Thats a good little workout right there. That sucks about your thumb, my thumb has been bothering me very slightly since starting with the blob top. Its quite a stretch and takes the hands a while to get used to. I'm sure just lowering it on the ground, your hands have to get used to that impact.

It will heal and you'll be certing on it in no time.

thanks for the kind words.
yeah I really hope so. Will see if it gets better soon if I don't do pinch and thick bar. Bending should be fine. Not sure about grippers..

honestly bending seems to bother it a little for me. But hands have gotten pretty beaten up in general these past 6 weeks. 2x5 doesn't bother it and thick bar hasn't.. Maybe you could spend some time doing thumbless for the thick bar.

RH front reverse would hurt a lot 100%. But I'm doing reverse exclusively LH front for a while so I think it will be ok. Will see on Tuesday.
I think thumbless would still hurt it because there is still some lateral pressure on the thumbs, especially if you're trying to cup the handle. But going "entirely thumbless" might work, if you know what I mean.

||: One DU bend -> one reverse bend :||
Hard bending session.

DU - double leathers
- ECGB O-1 Drill rod 1/3" x 7.5" cert attempt - 4 hits, 15 secs
Wraps were a little bit overkill probably, but it's better to get used to these for the 8.8 .

DU - single leathers
- Annealed 35CrMo 5/16" x 8" - 5 hits
The hardest DU bend of the session.
- 3x CRS 21/64" x 7" - all 1 hit
- Grade 8 bolt 1/4" x 6" - 1 hit

The batch is from ECGB Devin, rated at 490lbs. So a tougher G8. I won't waste my stock on DU, I got these for reverse. I just wanted to try these out first.

Reverse - single leathers
- Horrido A2 stainless (303) 5/16" bolt at 5" cert attempt - 5 hits, 50 secs
Hardest reverse bend of the session.
- 2x CRS 5/16" x 7" - 1 hit, 2 hits
- Grade 5 bolt 1.4" x 6" - 1 hit
The batch is from ECGB Devin, rated at 390lbs. It's too easy for these leather wraps, it will be good for suedes or corduras.
- Grade 8 bolt 1/4" x 6" - 3 hits
Getting quite tired here. The batch is rated at 490lbs, the same stuff I DUd a few minutes earlier.
- Annealed 35CrMo 7mm x 7" - 2 hits
