It sucks progress can be slow with this stuff and injuries take forever to heal. I always feel like I’m walking a fine line. but it’s always fun and that’s really what it’s about Thanks, man. I feel you, especially with the "walking a fine line". Bending for me always goes much better when I don't care about the consequences (I have a few of these bends), but well, it can have consequences. The only way it's completely safe it's barehanded because the pain limits me a lot, so it's not hard physically/tendon-wise. 9 minutes ago, Londonjoseph said: ~10° is a good kink, no wobble! matek
My KWN blob 50 has arrived! It's the same size as a half 100 York blob, 3 7/8" at the top, sloping out to 5 1/2" (but the shape is more like the blob50 I think). It's 50.5lb (22.9kg). Available on a few Japanese e-commerce websites, but I used Amazon because it was convenient (+ free domestic shipping). Here is the link, although I'm not sure if they ship internationally.

Blacksmith513
Nice today. Yeah the wrist developer should be called the elbow developer, man if you over do something the elbows let you know. Mine where’s falling asleep at night for a few days last week. No pain though. I got a question…Everyone marks their stock before bend. Why do I find it more comfortable with wraps touching? Must be a leverage thing. 1

Ahahah, this is so true. 7 minutes ago, Blacksmith513 said: Mine where’s falling asleep at night for a few days last week. No pain though. Dude, same here if I overdo it + elbow pain sometimes. But a few times, I had the same from reverse bending, so I guess it's working as intended . 13 minutes ago, Blacksmith513 said: Everyone marks their stock before bend. Why do I find it more comfortable with wraps touching? I think because you mainly bent that way and got used to it. It's harder with wraps touching regardless of what wraps you use, period. And if not just the wraps are touching but also your hands (or almost touching), it is much, much harder. Then it's like bending a much shorter steel (not the same, of course, but you get the idea).

matek
Short braced bending - HRS 9mm x 5" - C45 CRS HEX 5/16" x 8" - Stainless (304H) HEX 5/16" x 7" The C45 is a harder material overall, but the very end of the crush is harder on the 304H. - CRS 10mm x 8" - hard stock I did 10mm CRS at 7" before, but from a different supplier. This was much harder. - CRS 3/8" x 7.5" - Drill rod (SK95) 8.5mm x 7" - Grade 8.8 bolt 5/16" x 6" + I found a 6mm x 7" stainless bolt in my stock, so I barehanded it (unbraced) to give the finishing blow to my hands/palms. All sub 2".

And I'm not really good at anything . Btw I haven't done much thick bar for a while now (pinch was more interesting recently), and I actually wanted to restart it this week! But this is just my way to stay out of trouble (=injuries). Usually, when I really focus on a single thing, I get good at it and then injure myself. matek
I did a few MMS closes of my CoC #3 with my RH, and a few RGC 156 20mm choked closes with my LH. But I didn't attempt the Cobalt this time, I wasn't there mentally. I've bent this 5mm (~13/64) x 6" nail to this strange snake shape. It might not look hard, but actually, it wasn't that easy, and it took some time (I did it unbraced). Every time I bent a new part I opened another. Interesting workout, first time I did this kind of thing. It was mostly reverse and the crushing phase of DO.
