Ole' Puller
Modified horseshoe training: • DC#1 • Filed in three areas "Also during today's bending session was horseshoe bending. I want to get back on the @antonsiden Kerckhaert horseshoe certification list on the gripboard with a bend on a Kerckhaert SX7#2. Last time I bent an SX7 in practice, I didn't make the time limit. Time passed and I decided I wanted to work on double overhand bending progress so I went off course with this goal. Knowing that I can only swallow what I can chew, I'm certain that I can continue working on DO bending while accomplishing this goal. I have some DC#1 & Kerckhaert Standard#1 shoes that I can't finish as of right now but I can modify them to help me take down the Kerckhaert SX7 within the required time. I filed down 3 points which still made the bend difficult but able to complete. By the feel of this modification, it would be perfect for training for both the SX7 and eventually taking down the DC & Kerckhaert #1's without filing them down. This felt really good and it was well worth the effort .. gotta file down a few more for future sessions!"
