In the words of a famous Chinese proverb: "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." domedude
The gripster mentality is great when the first thing you think about if you had a time machine is to go back in time and buy a bunch of Inch Dumbbells!
Vinny F
Those old catalogs were great. On the Inch pricing...With inflation, $270 in '04, is ~$433 in today. Still cheaper than new. Was a good deal for those who got it. I had quite a bit from them in the mid 90's to very early '00s. Still have my Neck stap for Hercules, Holle It Up handle, 2.5" Husky Handle DB''s, pinch block (smooth finish), rolling thunder, hub, and the little big horn (original taper) and hub and some COC's. Made me remember having to fill out their paper order forms and sending check by mail just before internet took off Edited May 13, 2023 by Vinny F

Yup, think about all the things I could do... I could stop WW2, JFK from being shot...... But i'd fill that Delorean up with Inch dumbbells. The rear end of that thing would bottom out on a bubble gum wrapper!

There's a good mini series on Hulu called 11/22/63 that shows potential problems by doing something like that. But I don't think going back in time and getting lots of Inch Dumbbells would mess up the space-time continuum, but you never know.

Since i'm bald, the Rock has to play me.
John McCarter
Maybe someone did travel back in time. Placed a huge order, Ironmind decides to stop production of the Inch. All because of a silly little ad. Lol

Oh that’s by Stephen King. I read the book. I didn’t known they made a series.

The prices are crazy, a stand out is the Old model Rolling thunder at only $32! Hope you enjoy the pics. Does anyone know the date range that IronMind used the logo and graphics shown in the 13th pic posted here? The page that has the August 27, 2003 date.
