AdamTGlass
Main goal now is the competition 45 lb bumper plate. I’m closer than far on that.
Climber028
Crazy. How do the deeper plates compare to a regular 45? Also surprised that a bumper plate is harder, never tried to curl them at any size but I just thought they would be easier for some reason.

The rim changes difficulty depending on the thickness of the lip- but the competition bumpers stupid hard. I think the bumpers are harder than the bad ass steel flat plates.

AdamTGlass
Marco & and I are doing 100 days of lifting the inch, within that I’m aiming to build to a point if this nonsense daily. This week I had 3 days of successful lift + plate curl. From here the challenge is simple- longer plates and heavier bells.

I got a trade worked out with a guy to swap a few plates to expand my sizes- I’m very certain I can get the 25 kg plate curl in next 5-7 months.

AdamTGlass
5 oct 21 day 22 of 100. The first time in 2020 I successfully got a curl holding the inch my blood pressure spiked so far I thought I would have a stroke- now it’s so easy I need no warm up to get multiple sets. Persistent efforts my friends- don’t practice until you succeed- practice until you can not fail

AdamTGlass
Oct 15 2021 day 32 of 100 day Inch lift challenge- a few PRs from today 35 for 11, I’m pretty sure that’s easily my best ever on a typical sized 35. Right hand coming up so fast. I picked up this 50 lb standard plate this week from Academy. This 50 is much harder then the 50 standard I did years back. this cap 45 is the current longest diameter plate I’m getting good reps with. I’m now getting reps about every 3rd day with this which has been a huge improvement.
AdamTGlass
19 Oct 21 today was the most reps in 45 plate curl I’ve achieved in a single session- I’m trying to stick a hand to hand transfer on the inch after immediately curl…sooner than later
