Gripanator training

Hi guys,

I’m new to this board so I had a couple of  questions. I have a Gripanator replica and was wondering if it carries over well to grippers. So if it takes 175lbs of crush strength to close a #3.5 gripper, for example, would you have to work up to 175lbs on the Gripanator to be able to close it? And for those of you with a Gripanator, do you find that reps are best or holds/negatives? Also, regarding grippers, do you guys find that singles are work best or reps? Thanks in advance for your help!

Because of leverage factors I would think you’d need much less than the actual rating of the gripper you’re trying to close.
me, personally have found 3-5 reps to be the sweet spot for grippers.

gripanator was a popular item years ago ...but the expense was the problem for most.

I tried to get one last year (replica) but never heard back from him after I agreed to the price.
