Giggs
So finally taking the leap into pinch grip training. I have a 2.5in pinch block and loading pin was wondering what would be a good starting routine. Any input would be much appreciated,!
Lennix
I've had great success in the beginning of a new pinch implement to do high volume 10x10 on easy weight and increasing until I cant so 10's anymore. Then proceed to lower reps/set but keep volume up still.

There are many workouts you could do. Start light like Thom said to condition your thumbs and finger joints to pinching. I prefer lower reps myself as my hands sweat a lot. Lots of sets of 1-5 reps. For pinch holds are very good for building strength. I like to finish with a hold to end the workout.
Blacksmith513
I'm still very green when it comes to grip training, just bought a pinch block 2 months ago.. Finally finding out what works, and like Lennix said works, except I'm only doing 5 or 6 sets of 10... I'm also doing holds, but thats on a separate day after using my hub....
