Training with an offset set...

Hi,

i was wondering if there is a  benefit to training with lighter grippers where the dog leg is further down the palm towards the thumb. The rookie position that most people start with when trying to close a stronger gripper. If i start closing them from that position, will that give me an extra edge/power from the proper set?

No the setting you learn from that will not carryover to setting big grippers ("properly"). For crushing strength I don't see any problems training like that though.
