Tried some iron mind axle And Thomas inch 172 today for the first time in 15 months. Good starting points: my back surgery doesn’t like anything from the floor approaching 400 as well as heavy one han

I like the snowblower in the background. Your garage must be heated?

Actually it is not.... it feels Like zero in it most of the time.... haha .... sometimes I have a little space heater, one of those that looks like a tall thin oscillating fan but not usually. In the words of Brooks Kubik... I am a true to life “dinosaur “. 🤪

Joe-

can you lift an inch dumbbell?
I have one coming and can’t wait to try it....I’ve never done too much thick bar training, but when I do I really enjoy it.

I know you said you lost some gripping strength after focusing on AW, but it's coming back fast.  Are you able to do reps of the inch these days?

I lost a lot from arm wrestling and Covid fatigue... but it’s coming back way fast. Yes!

Would have been easier to just say yes 😃

the reason I asked, is if you can compare how much you lift with fat grips to the inch the difference there is? Thanks!

Joe,

I think your combo of Inch DB hold and 20lb stamped sledge face lever x 6 is your best ever!

Well... these were all uploaded at one time when I was in grip board... but I unjoined and they all disappeared. So I was meaning to put them back up for reference since coming back....

A hex dumbbell with fat gripz feels exactly like inch dumbbells. They are are all one piece like the inch...and they have the same kind of feel when lifting them... I don’t know what you would have to lift on one to lift the inch though because mine is set at between 140 and 145 pounds right now and I can lift it 10 x each hand in a set with the fat gripz so I don’t know man...
