COLOSSUS BAR: 1/2” x 2” x 47 1/4” flat bar. This bar was first bent by Carl-August Mertz @camz I became the 3rd person to bend it today. The bar makes Goliath look like a little guy. Very hard to wrestle with because it is so wide. My hands, wrists and biceps are trashed more so than from other long bars I have done. I need to train those areas more before attempting a wider bar. Very happy with this bend! Video:

A truly monster bend!

This thing is very hard and you also need a very strong grip for this bar.

Great job!

Thanks Jan! My body is still very sore from the bend. Worked me top to bottom. The finger and hand strength required was even greater than I thought it would be. Have a good one.

That's an amazing bend!

Thank you very much! It is crazy how much this bend took out of me. I was not able to do anymore bends that day as I was completely sapped of strength and energy. I had a deep soreness in my back, sides, abs, biceps, hands and forearms that is just now starting to go away. Probably the most sore I have ever been from a single bend.

Just watched this. I have no idea how a flat bar feels like but I can understand how hard this is from your effort.

Brace bending is great for whole body work out but it's not so popular as unbraced is.

Great effort and great bend!

Thank you very much! Braced bending is definitely great training for your whole body. It is my personal favorite style of bending. I have enjoyed watching your videos and learned a lot from them. Have a good day.
