Hello.

I saw few videos v-bar and LBH lifts and there was no lockout like in RT or Crusher lifts.

What lift height is required according to the rules Little big horn and v-bar? No lockout?

Thanks in advance, Alex.

Lockout in Grip Sport has proven to be better hard to consistently call. Any Axle, Rolling Thunder or Saxon Bar contest process this.

Instead, in Grip Sport International sanctioned meets, the option of lifting to a cross bar that clearly defines the same pull height for everyone is often used, instead. Separate records lists are then maintained.

They're are other reasons we use height gauges instead of lockout, but they do not need to be discussed here.

What is the legal height for the crossbar? I have seen some lifts lately that are very questionable. If the height is too low it’s easy to abuse the rules and start the lift in an angle so that the weight is tilted and thus putting the crossbar pin in an angle so that it reaches the crossbar even though the weight barely leaves the ground. I’ve not seen this in competition yet but I’ve seen it posted as a training lift.
