I trained alot of different things but now I'm mostly doing AW and complementary training for that (arm training, grip, cardio) My favorite thing when it comes to grip is TTK. I’ll even use what I call anti-technique, which is where you do your best to put them in an advantageous position and yourself in a disadvantaged position and they’ll still find some excuse to why they lost.
