new one IMP cert from Steffen Knaak with a 6" A2 bolt.

Fun fact: by the end of the last year Steffen told me that he has no idea how the one IMP bends should work, now he exactly knows how they are done!

New number one spot in the reverse list!

It's David Horne with an A2 5,5" bend.

Big update from the weekend with several bends on the lists.

From yesterday we have a new leader in the reverse section. @David_wigren bent the A2 bolt at 5" in single leathers. Big bend and I think there is more to come!

Being there in person to witness the feat was also something spectacular to behold

He also humbled me by destroying, in seconds, a shorter piece of the rebar that took me hours to complete

It's always great when benders come together!

And sure, David was, is and will be a hell of a bender!

Funny you mention that because David and I worked together in the same research centre and it was him who got me into steel bending in the first place 😁

I had always heard tales and watched videos of his bends but seeing it in person is something else. This guy was born to move steel.

Some updates here:

Jason Kaplan entered the main cert list with an A4 bend. Welcome to the group of sexy guys Jason.

Carl Donati entered the double underhand section with a strong A2 6,5" bend. Well done, man.

Dave Nisbet made it to the top spot in the braced list with a very strong 12.9 5,5" bend. Congrats man!

Today Josh Goldthorp certed on the reverse bends with an A2 5" bend and on the one IMP list with an A2 5,5" bend. Great bend my canadian friend. And this is also a prove that good german beer gives you extra power on your bendings.

Here are all the videos. Enjoy it:

Great bend! Very strong. I am terrible at short reverse bends under 6”.  They feel weird getting the right mechanics to generate force. Congrats!

Thank you my friend! Yes sub 6” is where it starts to get really awkward. I’d rather just work on something harder at 6-7” but the jump up to the 8.8 is huge. I’ve attempted the 8.8 three times now and never managed more than a wobble of a few degrees.

Wobble the 8.8 bolt reverse is madness David!

Maybe I’m under estimating the 8.8 bolt, but I feel it should be possible to reverse. Would be great to do it in singles but I’d also be happy if I can do it in doubles.
