Events will be: Silver Bullet, 48 & 54mm Euro 2HP, 2&3/8" Napalm's Nightmare, and Little Big Horn. Same qualifications will be required as for the North American Championship, as this level competition is what those qualifications were originally designed for. More info will be posted soon. Vinnie
I am in, and bringing my 13-year-old son to watch and improve his, er, vocabulary .... He insists he won't compete (too bad, since I think he'd have fun if he did). But it's my birthday the next week so he is humoring me by coming along, although on condition I get a hotel with a pool, play board games with him, and get steak dinner after the comp. Happy birthday to me lol.

I was gonna miss the Arnold because of it but then we all missed it.

Jedd Johnson
PA is open now, well, at least my County is, thank God. So, I have rescheduled the competition for July 18. I may need to limit at a certain number, due to current recommendations by the State. So, I'm asking those interested in competing to please reserve your spot by emailing me: jedd.diesel@gmail.com Those who email me will be placed on the roster first, and will be able to compete, assuming they are qualified, via the established qualifying methods. Thank you Jedd

Jedd Johnson
Competition Format Event Order: Silver Bullet, Euro Pinch, Napalm’s Nightmare, Little Big Horn Silver Bullet: 2 Trips to the platform. You get 60 seconds to get an official, legal hold time. You can start with a heavy gripper and drop down until you get a legal hold. We will use grippers that are on the lighter end of the ratings range for each gripper level. Euro Pinch: Normal lift to 16.5” crossbar. Standard Euro rules will be conducted. Competitors lifting on 48mm will go first, then we will switch the width to 54mm, and not go back to 48. If a competitors saves an attempt for the bigger width, that will be fine. Napalm’s Nightmare: 2 3/8” handles. Competitors may stand on blocks. 3” and 9” blocks will be available. Competitor must set up blocks prior to their attempt beginning. No bracing of the implement on the body at any time. 6” lift will be conducted. Little Big Horn: Competitors may use either hand they wish to get the best lift and may switch back and forth as needed. A 6” lift to crossbar will be conducted. For Euro, NN, and LBH: 60 seconds per attempt to get a legal lift. Rising Bar. There will be a second implement in the back to warm up on prior and during the event. Competitors will be able to take warm-ups on the contest implement. You must say “Warm-up” and take the cross-bar off the uprights to avoid confusion when warming up. No more warm-ups once you have taken your first attempt. No loss of grip is allowed once hitting the crossbar or it invalidates the lift. Any questions, please let me know. Thanks. Or, are you talking dropping out of the hand? Slipping is one thing, but if it leaves your hand, it's no good.

Some kind of strange irony and foreshadowing here, considering my 3rd attempt on 2HP. Results coming soon.
