Number of sets, reps and how ofen do you go for max? How many times a Week. Everything   I have these grip tool. The 2.5" Trilobite rolling handle by Barrel strenght system - Where my max is 50kg (110lbs) i find it easier without the thumb, why is that? but the 50kg is with thumb on. Captain of crush - No. 1 no. 1.5 and 2. I can close no 2 a couple of times, the others many times. And my last grip tool, homemade pinch blocks. One is 2" and the other is 3". Fist of Fury Posted January 31, 2020 Share Posted January 31, 2020 Depends entirely on your goals. You're probably stronger with a thumbless grip if you lack strength in the thumb.
