Bowling Ball Lift

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if anyone has tried using Old Bowling balls as a tool for Grip strength?

I was thinking of not just adding additional weight off the bottom of one , thus increasing the concentric crushing requirement , but also 'hollowing' the main space between the three finger holes and using one to train the extensors also.

New feat lift maybe?

Lots of experienced people here so please tell me if this is a dumb idea of if others have already tried it.

Definitely not a dumb idea man. Seems like a really cool idea 👍

I have never actually touched a Bowling ball in my entire life. I've had the opportunity anytime but it has never happen :laugh

That's almost as crazy as a guy I knew who at 40 years old had never had corn on the cob. Lol

Haha yes it's weird I used to go to school right next to a bowling center. I think everyone I know and everyone I know about has tried bowling. But not me :D

I like the idea of training extensors with one.

I think kinetic movements ( extensors cleans if you will ) will provide a challenge.
