Bravo!  Now that is how you do a double and a triple:  controlled negative, no re-gripping.

Thank you. This was a great day. First time I’ve gotten a double or more on film. Very happy about that.

Very strong buddy. Very few people in the world lift the inch. To rep it? That's way fewer!!! Well done :rock

Thanks, Anton. I’m working on being strong. While getting back down to this....

I hope I can maintain my current strength..

I'm on the same path Joe. I'm too heavy for my towering 5'6" frame.

Well, I have a high class problem. I can get as big or as lean as I want just by manipulating of my eating and lifting programs. When I lift heavy I get big. When I stick to mostly calisthenics I revert back to this form in the picture. I’m about 230-235 here. I am 262 now. Was 296 a few months ago. What you see in the picture is more my normal weight. Competition training  In grip caused me to get bigger. Not worth it at all.

Especially as we age. Extra weight tends to wear on you more so. I work in a prison and I'm on my feet all day on concrete and it kills me. I always feel better when I'm about 180lbs vs my 200lbs+.
