Sure. See the opportunity to sell something at $25 that you pay only $2 for in Chinese parts, and then market it alongside well established, quality products as if they were the same. That's how business works, but it'll still bother me sometimes.

You're probably exaggerating for effect, but you are awfully uninformed here.

well, in fact it's more than 2USD per unit, considering marketing effort and logistics need to be considered. Just also came to remember that the handles could be manufactured at the US, may be that also inflates the cost per unit.

I imagine there isn't much of a profit margin, otherwise more people would do it and continue to do it. @Andrew P is one of the few people I know of who was making and selling grippers in house (outside of the big companies like IronMind, Gillingham HP, and Heavy Grips) and he isn't doing it anymore. I don't know if Robert Baraban was ever on the grip board, but he would be a good resource too.

Nope not any more the spring guy I had went out of business. Aaron just helped me liquidate the remaining springs I had.

I can't imagine that Chinese grippers are sold by the factory for much more than that per unit, but you're probably right. You are pretty much THE gripper guy after all. I would however appreciate being corrected everywhere I'm going wrong.

Check amazon now - vatiz rainbow or twist (where one handle rotates)

Those came out of the woodwork, last time available was 2014 right?

A bit of news: The Grip Genie grippers will now be on sale on the CPW website and he's going to add them to the ratings data chart! Now we'll all have easier access to rated colorful grippers.
