Can’t cheat and I only feel it in my wrist and forearm. When I do them standing, you get a lot of Lat and shoulder/biceps/triceps assistance. This way, it is pure lower arm. Nice video Chris. I’ve seen this one a few times. And the face guard is a plus to avoid the inexperienced from Braining themselves. Thanks for your contribution!! How are you doing these days? Joe - we had one hand sledge for max weight the year or two before this. For a contest where people will be going to their limit I thought the "rack" a good idea. Yes it is different (and somewhat easier) but also a lot safer from a promoters point of view. How am I doing - the answer is great. The surgery has completely eliminated the face pain. Since getting off the drugs my balance has returned - my mind is clearer etc. I struggled with things for 3 years - sure wish I had had the surgery a lot earlier. I feel good enough I'm considering doing another contest or two after I get my strength back - still awful weak and heavy lifts give me some pressure where they drilled the hole in my head.

Dude I am so glad to hear it!! And yes it is a good idea to prevent any injury, no doubt!! I have been thinking about you as gripmas starts to get near! Was hoping all was well with you and SO great to hear you will be getting back into training! The best thing you can do for yourself, as you already know! Train until we can’t train no more!! You are in my prayers... Joe

Yes it does. It’s always a let down when strength goes down and has to be rebuilt. That’s why I like to maintain or exceed.
